Ubichem’s origins are in the global sourcing arena, and we still retain vast knowledge of the global fine chemical industry. We are able to rapidly ascertain if key materials can be bought elsewhere or whether they will need to be made. We have existing relationships with reliable subcontractors to whom we can take chemistry for technical or cost reasons, including companies in Asia with whom we have tech transfer experience.
Chemical Process R&D
We present a practical and pragmatic approach to choice of synthetic route: potential scale-up issues identified early and the principle of appropriate development is applied ….i.e. we do not forget that meeting deadlines is the most important issue! Cross-disciplinary teams ensure that processes are scaled up safely and economically, but where we really excel is in PROBLEM SOLVING…things will not always go to plan: what happens when they do not?
Custom Synthesis
Ubichem is well-equipped to handle production of material from lab scale through to plant scale - truly grams to tons. We make reference compounds and we make commercial APIs and intermediates. All occurring within a high-quality cGMP environment, supported by a well-equipped analytical department.
Radiolabelling
The recent addition of a well-established and highly experienced team of radiolabelling chemists allows us to broaden the range of services supporting API development. 3H and 14C labelling following GMP principles supports API microdosing studies as well as preclinical toxicology studies.
